This is a full set of new hop-up oil dampers supplied pre-built & filled ready to fit the FTX Vantage Buggy (not suitable for the Carnage or any other models).

Includes four replacement screws for the top mounting points - you can reuse your existing screws for the lower mounting points.

IMPORTANT:

The standard plastic 110mm (hole to hole) rear shocks that are fitted to the Vantage are too long - they have to be compressed just to make them fit and at full stretch would cause the driveshafts to come into contact with the suspension arms. For our shock set, various size combinations were tested and we have found that the set that we have put together using the same size shocks all round but in different mounting holes (see below) works best. They will level the chassis so it sits at approximately 30mm off the ground front & rear and they have a good level of adjustment with the threaded collar to make them softer or firmer, as you prefer. The car will sit as shown in the main picture on this listing. 

Please use the following mounting points with these shocks:

Front upper: Inner hole

Front lower: Centre hole

Rear upper: Inner hole

Rear lower: Inner hole

Supplied as shown in the first (main) picture, please allow for the unlikely possibility of 1/ a slight difference in the shade of the main colour from one shock to another 2/ a +/- 5mm variance in size 3/ light surface marks from the manufacturing process 4/ slight residue oil from the filling process.
